Stone Cabin 2-3-2020

First spot we fished. Usually a fish hides under the log. Today was no exception. Ed had first shot and he got the fish as the next slide will show.
Ed admiring the little guy (or gal). We thought this might be a sample of things to come but, alas, it wasn't to be. Not many fish came to the net.
First brookie of the day. Usually in Feburary you don't expect many fish and today was no exception but we did hook a few.
Pools like this were most effective. Air temp was abnormally warm but the fish were still in the winter mode. We hooked a bunch but landed few.
Another brookie out of the previous hole.
We were having one of those days where all the fish were jumping off the hook. Fortunately, I was able to get this beauty in for a pic.
Generally this is one of the more productive holes. It is deep and has nice current. The fish were here but getting them to the net seemed to be a challenge.
We did get one or two from that hole but on a good day that spot should produce 10 or more fish.
Ed got one from the hole just behind .
